DJ El Rey, AKA the Tennessee Love Machine: Producer & Lead Conceptualist

Starting his musical career as a classically trained orchestral trombonist, studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music led him to perform professionally with orchestras such as the San Francisco Symphony, Oregon Symphony and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia in Spain. Now collaborating with an ever expanding group of artists in the hip hop, jazz, EDM and even heavy metal world — the lines between genres are being reformed.

“Music has been an integral part of my life ever since I can remember. I love making music for so many different reasons. No matter if I am producing or performing I want to tell stories, take listeners on journeys or make their ears bleed! Blending the real with the not so real to paint pictures with sound or evoke emotion is what I dig the most.”

“The musical world we’re in gives us the opportunity to bring people together, often complete strangers with totally different backgrounds. I want to provide a platform for artists to express thoughts and ideals be them anger, frustration, triumph or hope. That process is an addictive one for me, and if we are able to inspire, incite or energize through music, that’s a step towards making the world a better place!”

Be it creating music with others or bringing it to those that just wanna enjoy it we just want to get our message out there…Changing the world one song at a time is how we do it!”
